Unfortunately, this deal is dead and it appears, at least temporarily, that the Capital One Shopping Portal referral program has been discontinued.

Full disclosure: We don’t use the portal much anymore, unless we get an insane targeted offer like 24% back on purchases at Giftcards.com or 30% back at Viator. Why? Because the rewards are in gift cards, rather than airline miles or in straight cash back, as well as a few instances that our points did not automatically trigger and we had to do the back-and-forth to try and get them to post.
